Guess what arrived at my house last week? Yes, yes! Toy Story! The timing was perfect as I am hot and heavy into Disney scrapping and I had two photos of our friends the Garlands posing with Buzz at MGM Studios.
Toy Story looks like it is going to be a great cartridge. I plan to make scrapbooks for my nephew and niece for Christmas and I will definitely be using this cartridge. And I may use Woody and his sweet girlfriend, Bo (as in Bo-Peep), to make an anniversary card!
A word about Buzz - Hello Kitty has nothing on Buzz Lightyear when it comes to small pieces! My oh my, Buzz could get overwhelming if you are not careful when assembling him. The photo above is my mat immediately after cutting the "Buzz parts". Using the same method that I use to assemble Hello Kitty, I left the pieces on the mat until I added them to the Buzz character. I began by attaching the icon cut to the shadow cut and building up from there. Most of the pieces are easy to place, but one or two gave me a bit of trouble.
And remember I said that I had two photos of the Garland's with Buzz? Not enough for two pages, but just enough for a single 12 x 12 page. I used the same background papers on the matching page, but that page features Nemo!! Ahh, but Nemo is for another day!!
