Life is Good!

    Life is very Good over at the Bitten by the Bug blog. The design team was tasked with using the LIFE is GOOD cut from the Graphically Speaking cricut cartridge, and wow did they ever show "LIFE is GOOD". Do stop by and check out the amazing projects.

    I scrapped President Obama's inaugural photos for my submission. I blinged my key phase while using red, white, and blue colors. The paper is from an exclusive line available at Scrap My Trip. Julie's team came up with amazing election products just for those of us who add moments of history to our family books.

    Below are photos of the blinged out Life is Good phase, as well as a photo of the full two page layout.

    I hope our LIFE is GOOD this week!!

    Wow, what a weekend! A group of friends and I (my friends Kathy, Toby, Suzanne, Pat, Beth, and Sally) joined a larger group of extended friends at a scrapbooking retreat in GA. this weekend. Our adventures began on Thursday afternoon and we arrived home safely tonight (Sunday). I managed to scrap 38 pages (beating last year's total by 2 pages), as well as make a card for a future BBtB challenge.

    I am not going to post all 38 pages, but I will give a you a little peek into my weekend. First, Bethany's room in Charleston, where she is in college:

Promised Pages - FINALLY

    Remember last week when I wrote of attending a swarm/crop? And remember those elusive pages I claimed to have scrapped? Yes, well, here they are... FINALLY. I finally photograhed them (when I photographed this week's BBTB challenge... check back tomorrow!!).

    This first layout is of my new "Grand-pup", Magnus. My son got a baby Puggle (Pug+Beagle=Puggle) and is just enjoying him so much. I will get to meet the new grandpup when they come home this week for Thanksgiving!!



    This is my daughter and her college house mates when they visited a pumpkin farm. I have not yet scrapped the carving of the pumpkin photos... those are FUNNY!!



    This is my younger son passing out halloween candy to the Trick or Treaters. He is dressed as a comic book character, but apparently not being the coolest mom, I cannot remember who he is!!! Big sigh.... I worried about Ian & Barack scaring away the little kids, but apparently the lust for candy out weighed the fear of the tall guy!



    These are some adorable photos of my son and his friend Kristen. I love their smiles.





    Bethany was jealous that Ian had a photo shoot with "Barack" so she had to get in on the action while home on fall break.
