Like we said, the Bieb pulled all the stops and surprised Selena Gomez with a date most girls wouldn't even dream of Friday night at the Staples Center. Here's how it went down: Bieber first took Gomez to a Demi Lovato concert at the neighboring Nokia Theater, then led his gal through an underground tunnel connecting the two venues. The lights were dimmed and a table for two was set up in the middle of the empty 20,000-seat arena. The teen couple enjoyed a fancy candlelit dinner of steak and pasta from the arena's restaurant, The Lexus Club, before Titanic started to play.
Gomez was, of course, "shocked" when she figured out what was going on. She'd probably be more shocked to learn her beau didn't have to pay a dime for the whole thing. The folks at the Staples Center comped the epic evening because Bieber has filled the venue three times in the past, and it was empty that night anyway.
